Waheeda Yasin

I am Waheeda Yasin, a writer from the picturesque city of Sialkot in Pakistan. My literary journey commenced in 2020 when I embarked on a path of creativity and self-expression through the written word.

With unwavering diligence and a profound dedication to my craft, I had the privilege of authoring a captivating book titled “Engrossing English,” which was published in 2021. This book reflects my commitment to language and the art of storytelling.

In addition to my prose, I ventured into the realm of poetry. I found recognition as a published poetess in the esteemed online Turkish literary magazine, “The Bosphorus Review of Books.” My work graced the pages of their January 2021 edition, connecting with readers globally.

One of the defining moments in my career as a writer came when I was given the golden opportunity to become a co-author in the Indian anthology “The Silent Poetic Soul,” published in 2023. Collaborating with fellow poets and authors, I contributed to this collection of evocative verses that touch the depths of the human soul.

Moreover, my journey led me to become a part of “Festival Vibes,” an Indian magazine, where my work was featured in the September 2023 issue. This experience allowed me to connect with a broader audience and share my thoughts and creativity with a diverse readership.

Furthermore, my passion for poetry found a platform on the largest poetry site, where I continued to share my spirited verses and thoughts with a community of like-minded individuals.

In my pursuit of becoming an iconic author, I subscribe to Virginia Woolf’s perspective that a rich reading experience paves the way for words to flow like a river from our pens. I strive to use language to evoke emotions and inspire change, and I invite you to join me on this literary journey as we explore the beauty and power of words.
