Posting the copyright contents of others without their legal consent is strictly prohibited, as outlined in our Terms of Service and Content Guidelines.

Our policy is to respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement we receive by expeditiously removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.

Repeat infringers – In addition to the above policy, we may, when appropriate and at our discretion, terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or are charged with infringing the intellectual property rights of others.

Note: Copyright only protects the physical representation of an idea, not the idea itself. Unfortunately, similar plots or story themes may not constitute copyright infringement. If you are unsure of whether a work infringes your copyright, we encourage you to seek professional/legal advice before submitting a notice.

 

How to report:

1. Visit the summary page of the story you wish to report.
2. Press the question mark symbol in the top right-hand corner of the screen
3. Select the reason for which you are reporting this story. Continue to provide more details for the report.
4. Press ‘Submit’. The report will reach the Poetic Essence Publications Support team, where it will be reviewed.

What happens when I report a story?

All reported stories are reviewed before the appropriate action is taken. Sometimes we will request more information to ensure we take the proper action after confirming the violation. If a story violates Poetic Essence Publications’ Content Guidelines or Terms of Service, it will be removed.

Report Review, post, discussion comments

The Poetic Essence Publications community shares their passion for reading and writing by interacting with each other through reviews, comments, messages, and daily discussions. Reacting to story events, giving feedback to help others improve their writing, or collaborating with other writers are just some of the excellent ways comments are used within the community.

We encourage you to report reviews and comments that are about the following subject matter:

• Cyberbullying and Harassment
• Threats to Personal Safety
• Hate Speech
• Sexually Explicit Content
• Breach of User Privacy

How to Story Reviews, Comments, Post Comments, and Discussion Comments:

1. Go to the comments for a story/post/discussion
2. Press the exclamation mark next to the comment
3. Select the reason for which you are reporting this story. Continue to provide more details for the report.
4. Click Submit
